Our Operational Procedure
This is how our operation in concert with our technical partners is run:
- A client reports an inaccessible disk online or on phone.
- We will pick up the disk free of charge or the client takes it to our nearest office to the customer.
ALL CUSTOMERS MUST ENDORSE OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE BEFORE STAGE 3. - We will examine/evaluate the disk locally, to determine its recoverability.
- If evaluation process shows a good result, we will advise the customer of the bill, if approved, we will recover the lost data files accordingly, & write same to CDs or DVDs and deliver back to customer, but not before payment is received.
- Where evaluation shows a poor result, we will advise the customer on the need to ship to our Technical Partner abroad who specialises on the diagnosed disk's ailment. With customer's approval, we will ship the disk abroad, at customer's expense, for evaluation and advanced recovery process.
- Where our Technical Partner can do the job, the customer shall be advised of the recoverability and the cost implication.
- If the customer agrees and approves, our Technical Partners will recover the lost data files and write same unto blank Cds or DVDs, depending on size.
- If the customer disapproves of our bill at step 4 or step 6, we will return the disk as was taken: No Recovery, No charges.
- If the customer approves at step 4 or step 6, we will recover the lost files and write same to CDs or DVds, payment shall be received before we release the recovered data files.
- After paying, we will ship the recovered data files on CDs or DVDs to the customer, but without the crashed disk. The customer has the opportunity to call within 14 days (Service Warrantee) to report any missing or un-usable recovered files. We shall work further on this complaint to achieve customer's satisfaction.
- We will um-mount the disk from our laboratory and return same to customer after 14 days.
All complaints must be communicated within 14 days after Recovered Files' Delivery to the customer otherwise, we will immediately and irreversibly wipe the recovered data files from our Server.
This formally closes the transaction. - Any complaints after 14 days will attract additional but nominal charges.
